Hi All, As you claw in SBG, you're already developing all the jee lik for thrusting and clawing. You'll be surprised the result in a short period of time. The higher levels are done by moving the Chi internally to the tip of the fingers, resulting the tip of your fingers felt like an hot iron! Cheers, SC.

Really thats interesting and intriguing! When we practise sarm bo jin we do focus on our breathin and manipulation of chi! But doesnt that form of training require a more advanced practitioner who is more sensitive to the flow of chi around him/her and inside the practitioner! I have read alot about the use of chi to strengthen bones and sinew's but only general articles nothing indepth. Very interested to learn more about this!

Moving the chi requires the proper trainings and many safety precautions, do not force the chi to the tip but rather let it flows once the hei dan is developed through cultivation. As with all chi gung practice, alway seek an experience teacher, DO NOT be impatient and seek a short path, otherwise one may receive serious chi meridian damage without knowing.
Cheers,
SC.

Hello, I am a student of Toisan Black Tiger in Canada and we have some iron bridge and hand conditioning exercises that are very interesting. I've enjoyed this thread and reading about the different methods and seeing the pictures but I am curious as to why, on the Chow Gar page, the videos do not seem to work. SOmething about a license? Thanks

Good Morning folks, Received some more pictures from Evert explicitly for posting for all to view. The old Sifu was a Black Tiger Kung Fu expert teaching in Hong Kong. Black Tiger Kung Fu, to me, is one of the most exciting styles from the Kwantung region. I remember reading about their 10 animals style with elephant, panther etc.... Truely fascinating. Anyone with more on Black Tiger ? This Sifu was also renowned for his "bowl and chopsticks" kung fu - another rarely seen skill in others. The middle picture - I got problem. What is this Evert ? A page out of X-files Looks like Plum Blossom Stakes or Shaolin Stakes. Need your comment here. Last pix is me fooling around hehehe. Just kidding, this is another Black Tiger player doing his bridgearm conditioning. Enjoy. How did i miss this thread? Well, as most know that is my sigung Grandmaster Wong Cheung on the Black Tiger 9 Armed Grinder Dummy. The thing most people don't know is that the dummy moves. The harder and faster you hit it ,the harder and faster it strikes back. The arms are metal with the concrete body. Yeah he is also known for his Black Tiger Chopsticks and Bowl set also. Here's a few pics I have some rare pics of the Black Tiger Chinese Handcuffs set also that i'll post later. jeff:)

Evert,
Those training methods with the weights look very similar..... ;D
We do the samething with the barbells roll them along the arms ,throw them in the air and catch them in the pit of the arm.
