Well, here is an interesitng thing. We do Taizu as an integral part of NCK, but it also has its own subset of forms within NCK. Having said that when I watched the Taizu during the recent tournament Pitbull, Konghan and I attended, it looked quite different to the Taizu we learn. Different lineages I guess.

The question is really; do you see any Pek Hok in Chinto?

Hey everybody, Forgot this, Russ got another version of "Chinto" in his website. Go to www.goju-ryu.infoThis version is "different" from Wado's. And I did see a couple of techniques that appear crane-ish. Thanks.

There may be a few crane hands, but it is far from being a big influence in that form from what I can see.

Hey Fatman, The crane is clearer if you view the other clip - the one in Russ' library. Looking at Okinawised forms, it is tough to detect the original Chinese elements. Personally, looking at Japanese versions is impossible! Maybe if we examine the "Bunkai" or "Wen Jia"............ "Wen Jia" means "explaining the text". In fact "Bun-Kai" is the Fukien pronounciation of "Wen Jia".
