Eric, I have Sifu Yap's book scanned into the library on my site. It contains among other things, the "3 battles" and "20 punches". You guys should have access. Thanks Russ, I got that book in my collection.

Chan Kok Wah:
I am very interested in a good copy of this article Eric. Do you have already a scanner? Any material about Pak Mei/ Hakka will be great. I notice a nice dummy on the background, great. Chan Kwok Wah and my laste Pak mei teacher were friends, so there is an emotional relation her for us.
Yau Kung Moon is strange to watch. Ha Hon Hung was close to Pak Mei too. Strange enough the fist are chambered at the hip side, this is new for me. bcause all hakka styles does it differently. Maybe it is serious time to discuss Hakka and Fukien from the bottom. What do you think? I can invite a Pak Mei teacher too? Also we have both lots of information/ experience in these two paths of Southern Boxing.
Dao Pai, foto's I am familiar with, the style not. In several Hong Kong magazines I see these expressions of power. I am afraid that it doesn't trigger me to jump in front of a car, to test my Iron Skin.
By the way, did you like Monkey Boxing and Chu ga Tong Long?
Take care,
Evert.

Hey Pit, Reposting the KongHan article but I don't think it is good enough for reading. Wait for my scanner and I should be able to send clearer images. In the meantime.............. And NO picture of fetus!!

Well okay, Some more pictures. • A page from a recent magazine explaining the various “Yao Chiu” or “vibrating hands” found in Ngo Chor Koon. Informative. • A better (?) picture of Bak Mei’s GM Chan Kok Hua(deceased). • Picture of Eng Choon Peho’s late GM Tay Boon Leng (in Fukien). GM Tay was a rare breed in HK during those days – one of the few Fukien masters teaching in a predominately Cantonese domain. • Chow Gar Tung Lung Basics. Forgive me but sometimes when I look at these, I think I am looking at White Crane.

getting back to tan kok wah isnt he a lama pai master? No, different Sifu. The other Tan or Chan in Cantonese was a Lama Peho master. Bigger guy physicallly and he was very good with the whip. I have some info about him - will try to post later. Yes, pray for that poor girl.

Well folks, it is typhoon time here in Kuching also although not as bad as in the Philippines. Business is slow – nobody's shopping so I will shoot and post more pix. 1. Cover of an old mag featuring some Bak Mei teachers – maybe Evert will like this one? 2. Lama White Crane’s “Neddle hidden in Cotton” form. One of their most advanced and “soft” form. The Sifu in picture was teaching in Singapore Sin Chew Pek Hok one time. The school was located in Balestier area in Singapore – Tze Hou? 3. A technique from “Natural School of Boxing”. Love this technique because it is so similar to the “shaking” crane that I do in Fuzhou Crane. 4. Fujian Bai He or Eng Choon’s “Ba Fen”. This is the “short-range” form that is very close to SPM. In fact, a lot of techniques are common here. 5. Something different in my library. I collect all the Silat publications I could find from Malaysia and Indonesia. Some of the featured Silats are really cool. I got another issue with “Bangau Putih” or White Crane in Malay. Will post the pix later.

Eric,
This is not to place to do such a statement, but I will. If you don't like it..... then delete the message. I don't care!
My compliments about the way you walk your path. Your dedication and effort to show outsiders the old art, is unique. Much time and probably money, your invest in your task. As an outsider I can say that you do a perfect job. This thread is such an example of how wonderful it is to visit this forum. Even if it is soon over, then still we did enjoy it greatly. I hope you can keep the current flow of photo's and text there, in the hope that the family stay small. This will be your greatest enemy, because many practitiners ask for quality, this forum is a great source for many Fukien Boxers.
For the future, I like to discuss [PM] with you, a functional path to walk. Leading to even a more and better view. Maybe Russ is willing to think with us?
Again, this thread is BEAUTIFUL, but still restricts me a bit to present all I have..........
By the way, I notice that it is much better to start drinking Carlsberg after the shoots, hahahahahahaha.
Proost,
Evert.

Good day Eric.
Unfortunately, I am unfamiliar with the Sifu. Is this the same school which is found near Keong Saik Road?
Warmest regards, Tze Hou

My excuse, I am getting older and forget the information that I had liked to drop.
Needle in Cotton set and ba fen - seen from a still picture moments - do look very much like Tai Chi. Different then the Hakka snapshots in wehcih the Monkey back play a leading role and so give the expression of "don't fool with me". Exactly the way my late Sifu taught us in the seventies. Every second alert to kill (eventually).
In Holland many Indonesian Guru's lived, as you know Eric. I was lucky to have met a Kalong Guru, Paatje Theuvenet. His son Bert and I were training partners for several years. A really unique man that is active in the old Indonesian Grandmasters comitee. Meeting every months and discussing martial arts. Some of the members ar 80+. One of the grandmasters Paatje Drijssen lives nearby, a very nice man deep in his eighties.
Enough for now,
regards,
Evert.

Proost, Evert. Evert, No I am not going to delete your message because you are not the first to tell me this. Already, friends are saying; “too much, you are giving too much away!”<br> But this is where I stand:- There are just too much rubbish being passed off as “authentic” TCMA – you know that too. Evert, between the 2 of us, we got sufficient materials, books and videos by the bona fide Masters, to show what’s real and what’s not. I know this is a double-edged sword. Presenting materials also offers the chance for “poachers” to just pinch to repackage and sell as theirs. So I am choosing the middle path – show enough to demonstrate a point and that’s it. In-detail discussions are to be carried out behind closed-doors with trustworthy folks only – my proposition in an earlier post, remember? So my friend, Carlsberg is not affecting my judgments as badly as you think. Yes, it would be fun to just go all out in all our discussions. And members please; all of you would be invited. With the exception of 1 or 2. And Evert, you are right. Russ makes a good traveling companion. Now where the hell is that hippy crane……….. Kang Pei !!!
