Fatman ni hao Whaat, is it Sydney or Las Vegas we are talking about? Btw, Cup Day holiday today? Cheers. No, but I have looked through the yellow pages before and noticed that there is one in just about every suburb. I noticed there was one in the suburb I grew up in, and I had no idea it was there - in fact most people who still live there don't know it is there! We don't get the Melbourne Cup holiday, we have to work

Fatman ni hao So you also counted the illegal as well, no wonder you mentioned in every suburbs. ;D How is yours (your sifu's?) bukoan? Cheers. We don't have a permanent kwoon. Our school runs out of various community halls, and from my sifu's house for the seniors. The school is going well though - gearing up for the trip in December.

Pitbull ni hao I always interested to visit the "real" bukoan. The place where real martial arts is taught by true and humble sifu. But not the bukoan where someone called himself "master" teach his so called "arts" with all the accesories. Tiao Wu, unfortunately I am not good at it. Maybe you should teach me how to. Melbourne Cup is the horse racing event, it's when the whole nation (Australia) "stop" for few minutes just to watch the show.

Without overlapping, can we start discussing just the art of fighting for a change? train to fight and some fight stories please…… I have had the great fortune of never having to street fight. I am a fairly large man and trouble seems to usually shy away. I have tournament fought and in my mind its just not the same. One time, back in the early 80's some of us from our school were attending a party and there were quite a few people there drinking and acting up. Sifu was there and we all were like "Sifu look at this.." or "Sifu come over here.." etc. There was some guy there that heard this and asked someone "Sifu whats that.." It was explained to him that he was a Kung Fu teacher and a pretty good one at that. Well later in the evening this guy decided to grab Sifu...from the back...and quick as a cat Sifu spun around and hit this man twice with whipping fists. If you blinked or were looking in the other direction, you would have missed it. Needless to say the man was down and almost crying like a pre-schooler. It was the only time I have seen real kung fu in action, that wasn't sparring or tournament fighting. In my days in the military when I was in combat areas I trained for hours on end with killing hands and knives. Once again, to my good fortune it was not necessary, but it gave me a sense of well being.
