I wonder if Chinese drugs store would be able supply herbs if presented the receipt in Chinese pinyin or in english; ex. Bujin Wan for strengthening the kidney and muscles, nourishing qi and blood activating collaterals to relieve pain.
I guess, most Chinese herb store would also have some kind of a herbal doctor present to help diognose and provide the right medication to a patient?

that is because chinese medicine is of the holistic approach :-) much like the indian way of healing Da jia ni men hao IMHO, the different between TCM and westerm medicine is on their approach. The TCM approach are to strengthen / balance the body before one's get the illness. More of prevention approach. While the western approach is to cure when one already got the illness. More of curative approach. Maybe our sinshe can explain more? TIA. Cheers.
