of course, a master is like a second father..remember the saying 'our parents gave life to us but its the master who will shape us'. Pitbull ni hao Of course. If you learn from bad teacher, definetly your "shape" will also not good. Cheers.

A good teacher must know and understand their art well. They must be able to relate to their students and explain the art to them. Most importantly, a good teacher should be able to identify how to help their students become better in the art, and not be scared that their student will be better than them.

Fatman ni hao Yes, a teacher should be able to guide his students, so one day the students will be better or at least in the same quality. If there is a teacher that "afraid" his students become better than him, I doubt his quality as a teacher. Cheers.

i remember an old shaw brothers film w the actor quoting 'lousy teacher lousy student' Pitbull ni hao The problem is for newbies, they find it difficult to tell who is qualified and lousy teacher. Most of them attracted to the flashier attribute. So no wonder many MARKETING teachers can "transformed " into MARTIAL teachers. Cheers.

How dare anyone call me a fraud?
I have you know that I have the biggest collection of kung fu books and videos to teach myself.
If you are looking for a fight, come to Mt. Santubong (a nice resort in Sarawak) and we will do battle there.
Don't forget this is Sarawak Borneo - the land of headhunters. I picked up some "head chopping" skill from the local tribes.
I dare you!!!
