The story of Choi Baeda, aka, Mas Oyama. This movie is pretty well done, I have to say. It tells the life story of Mas Oyama, one of the greatest Karate-kas.
The story tells of how Baeda, a Korean living in WW2 Japan tried to enrol in the air force, and the subsequent humiliation he suffered as a second class citizen.
The numerous humiliations he suffered and subjugation he endured from his run-ins with Kato and the Yakuza fuelled his fire to train to be the best, inspired by the legendary Musashi.
Excellent fight scenes, although most of them were not very detailed. Some good techniques can be seen, I even noticed some similarities to Hung Gar.
The movie also teaches about Wu De, the ability to admit a mistake and repent, the responsibility to repay a debt and the self-restraint not to use excessive force.
All in all, a good movie. I am watching this one again.
P.S. For those who like xiao jies, there are 2 extremely pretty Japanese actresses in the movie.
Warmest regards, Tze Hou

Good day pitbull and Suhana.
Pit: you will not be diasppointed by the ladies in the show.
Suhana: yes, that is the one and only Mas Oyama, the one who killed bulls with his hands.
Very touching story line too, the road to the top is full of setbacks. Those who can accept failure and work harder will get there.
Warmest regards, Tze Hou

Good day Suhana.
It was a sneak preview here in Singapore, which means the movie will be released here officially in a week or two.
Going by the standard, Australia will probably release the movie 2 years later, as it happened with Hero. Best bet would be the local DVD rental where they have overseas movies. It is a Korean movie with some Japanese dialogue in it.
Warmest regards, Tze Hou
