Da jia ni men hao
Why 4 (four) is considered as "bad" number? Four is a negative number. The Chinese numeral is a rectangle enclosing two things or persons. This means a couple without children, thus implying death to the posterity. The pronounciation of four is "se", "si", which sound the same as the word die. That's why it is regarded as bad number. Some combinations of number with 4 are also negative are: 14 - must die 24 - easy to die 64 - six deaths or continuing death 74 - sure to die 84 - prosper and then die 94 - longer-term death 744 - sure to die and die
Cheers.
