Hi Evert all other members of this forum,
Evert, hope you don’t mind that I am posting here. The message is for you and the rest of the members, who should by now, be in the loop.
Martin did write a couple of times to ask me to join you guys in Holland. Well you know the problems I’m facing at this time.
Both Russ and Tze Hou also talked about a face-to-face. Well guys, things are a bit volatile for me now in Kuching and visibility should be better next Jan.
Meeting is not an “if” but “when”.
I just spoke to a gentleman here in Kuching. His name is Chester, a person very experienced in organizing all sorts of martial arts events. Being a TCMA lover himself, we spoke about the viability of doing up a TCMA conference here in Kuching.
Kuching really do have much to offer. Besides gorgeous landscapes, charming natives and the usual tourist attractions, Sarawak is also home to 2 major proud Chinese Kung Fu traditions.
Hakka Praying Mantis and Fuzhou Cranes. The Hakka or Kek make up quite a big segment of the Chinese communities here in Kuching. Sibu, another major division, is also known around here as “New Fuzhou”. And there is even a Yong Chun BaiHe in Miri. So even Martin got a reason to visit. Flying Crane folks will find themselves well-represented in Sirikei.
Well, personally, I must confess that I am relocated here for more than just business reasons.
So we’ll see, a conference to meet and share TCMA experiences.....what more can I say?
