That is why the green lion performers are supposed to be very athletic & are usually those who have good kung fu skills.
Training in the green lion is a good way to train ones stamina, endurance, arms, shoulder & legs as well as good muscle coordination it is very intensive.

Very informative sites, when ever I see this kind of things it makes me wonder & imagine, what if China had remain strong & united during the 1800? China would have indeed live up to its name as the " middle kingdom" or better "middle earth". China would have been more advance & powerful than the USA. Before it was the Europeans who envy & fear the advancment of China & now it is the USA.

Middle Earth is the name in Lord Of The Ring movie Don't worry, present time is the age of China again. Just look everything that we use, all with "Made in China" labels. All top 100 American corporations already opened their branches/offices in China. They compete to do business with the most desireable market in the world. Cheers.

Konghan ni hao Do you know the place in Canada with big Chinese community? Cheers. Here in Greater Vancouver area it is in the city of Richmond. It is almost like a mini Hong Kong 75% of the residence there are chinese, with chinese shopping malls, stores. Streets are almost design identical to Asian taste & also traffic ;D The Chintown in Vancouver City is trying to revive its lustre but they are having a hard time competiting with the new metropolis mentality of the new generation. Also the original Chinatown here like many original chinatowns all over the world it is located near slum and difficult areas, areas that have gangs, drugs & all sorts of vices. Chinese population here is big, new comers will never feel homesick. My disadvantage is that I can't communicte with them in mandarin but in some small instances I bump into some hokkian speaking people

Konghan ni hao It's interesting, because one of the area with big Chinese populations here also called Richmond! Are the majority Cantonese? If the area is not crowded, noisy and a "bit mess", it is not a chinatown ;D But all the hustling bustling are chinatown's trademark anywhere in the world. Cheers.

They say life is a constant changing process, and it's like a turning wheel. Sometime you are on top but next you are at the bottom. That's why the globe keep on rotating. Cheers.

Richmond city is a modern Chinatown with clean roads, clean side walks, no beggars, lots of lights, busy streets, lots of shops & off course the hustling & bustling. It is also right beside the Vancouver International Airport. The old Chinatowns were mostly from major river banks, in Manila it is by the Pasig River, in San Francisco it is by the bay area here in Vancouver it is by the Fraser river. Yes majority are Cantonese, but there is a growing influx of other ethnic groups from Taiwan, China, & other hua kia chinese ( like me ). And mandarin language is becoming more predominant than cantonese.

hmmm...im actually thinking of migrating...but what should i do? im a multi skilled person able to make dentures upto painting, now im doing 3d animation...but these skills will never guarantee me a job...i can do dog training too hehehe and on the side maybe do some small scale NCK teaching up to what i was tought the last. im actually quite fed up of the peace and order here...im also considering moving to china and teach there for a living..teach english and 3d animation lol and western treatment of mass media...their cartoon shows are pitiful to say the least :-P what i liked about china is how the govt looks after the educational system! they give the children allowance money etc and the teachers get VERY cheap housing that they can have after paying a small sum, plus things there are cheap...medicine is cheap too...and most of all,the peace and order situation there is much much better than where i am in now. also, its a more cleaner place to live....
