Does anyone training "pulling tendons"? Ive mostly seen this type of training in Bagua, but I know some Taiji practitioners do it too. Any comments?

Yes. In Tai Chi, it is called silk reeling or Chan Si Jing. You rotate your wrists, elbow, shoulder, waist and knee joints etc. You are stretching all the tendons and ligaments around all of your joints. So that over time, your joints and tendons are loosened and produce more outward Jing or Peng Jing. In Ba Gua, you rotate your waist and other joints, too. It is called spiraling Jing or Ruo Xuan Jing. The idea is the same to produce a stronger outward Jing or Peng Jing. It is more like twisting the tendons more than pulling them linearly or straight.
