I have heard about this, but it still rather vague to me. Could someone shine a light for me?

Hi Nothingness,
Read a couple of books on this - deep stuff!
According to the author, Wu Ji is the mother of all internal arts - I got absolutely no idea whether this is true of not.
Very Daoism based and in one of the books they look like they are doing some form of seated Qi Qong.
There was a program on "Discovery Channel" that talked about this internal art - on location in Bu Tong I think.
And I saw one Daoist priest (in full uniform and Wu Xia style hair-do) doing some kind of push hands.
Really good stuff!
Wu Ji, to me, is a little like the other seldom seen CKF - Little Nine Heavens.

There are several boxings using the name Wu Ji. Wuji gives rise to Tai Ji. (Wuji Sen Tai Ji) (Yi Jing) One said it is a boxing used by general Yuet Fei of Nan Song (southern Song dynasty). He designed and trained his soldiers to fight Jin then maybe Mongols, too. Thus Wu Ji Quan is also called Wu Mu Quan. Wu Mu is general Yuet's another name. Yes, there are Daoist Qi gong practices and boxing named Wu Ji, too. I used Wu Ji as a concept in my book. It means more than one or limitless.

Is this the same Yue Fei who was executed because of false words from Qin Gui?
Some of Xingyi masters also claim that Xingyi originated from Yue Fei. So, is it of one root?
If you still remember the titles, could you post them please? TIA.

Grandmaster Chee Kim Thong taught an art called Wu Ji Quan, sometimes nicknamed Shaolin Taiji. It was a Shaolin art that was practiced slowly (hence the comparison with Taiji), and cultivated the soft techniques and internal power.

Hi Fatman,
Is this something that GM Chee teaches openly or only for closed door students? I'd like to get more info on that.
TIA

TIA Unfortunately GM Chee is no longer with us, but he taught it openly, and his successors also teach it openly. Where are you from? I mgiht be able to point you towards someone who might be able to help you.

Andy Foster teaches near San Francisco. I don't know if he learned/teaches and Wuji, but he is an excellent NCK teacher from what I have seen. www.angelfire.com/ri/ngorchor/

He is a very famous geomancer, however I have been told that you have to be very rich to afford his services.

That is probably true, though just spending time with him is enough of a lesson. He is a truly knowledgeable man who has a gift for being able to clearly share his knowledge with others.
