I know very little of this, other than what I have seen in Micheal Staples' books. Does anyone have info on the actual formations of the Moi Fa Jongs, the triangle stepping, and other footwork patterns in this system? It seems highly developed as they are able to angle their bodies away from strikes yet be close to their opponent to deliver devastating blows. Very intriguing, to say the least. (oh, and btw-many of the pics you posted are not coming up on my pc-just that little box with the red x, why is this?)

I can scan the pattern or patterns , there are several. basically it goes 5 4 5 , but other schools have a different pattern, this is used in the needle wrapped in cotton form. I can even possibly send you a video if you are really interested in this, most people just do it without the patterns now days, as stumps are not that common anymore, they use the pattern painted on the floor or just do it without, of course this is a poor substitute for the actual martial art training.
