The tsunami or tidal wave that hit Thailand, Indonesia, Sir Lanka & part of Malaysia is really terrible.
The death toll is almost the equivalent of an atomic bomb, almost 11,000 dead & thousands more injured.
Terrible, my prayers go out to all the victims.
One can just imagine how it was like 1000+ years ago, without modern technology & communication such calamity would have been considered an end of the world a sign from heaven that humanity is being punished.
Now, in some degree we know how the dinasours got wiped out. Chances are a simultaneous natural calamity in the form of earthquakes, volcanic eruption, typhoon, tornadoes, tidal waves, deseases, famine, plague & super storm could have wiped out more than half all living things here on earth.
Without modern mode of transportation, communication & technology humanity would have been under the mercy of mother nature.

Da jia ni men hao Until today, the tolls rises above 26 thousands. It's a natural disaster on the global scale. Not only hit the South East Asia and Sub Continent regions, but felt as far as Somalia (in Africa). This is another prove, no matter how equipped human with modern technologies, we are helpless under mother nature. My deppest sympathy and condolence to all the victims. Cheers.
