No,not every Chinese knows Cantonese, only those of Cantonese(including Hong Kong & Macau) origin speaks it. Cantonese is a dialect,as opposed to Mandarin, the official Chinese language aka 'pu tong hua'(common language)~~~ I believe that you had the misunderstanding that all Chinese knows Cantonese,as many Chinese immigrants who travelled overseas and settled down are mostly of Cantonese origin. In South-East Asia, Cantonese doesnt not constitute as much as those in Western countries, sometimes Hokkiens are most prevailent, and there are also Teochews and Hakkas too~~~ Even in a province of China there are more than one dialect being spoken, take Fujian for example. The 'official' dialect is Hokkien(aka 'Min Nan Hua'),but there are also other dialects such as Foo Ching dialect and others~~~

But please keep to the topic Any tips on were to find good training in china, which master that is "have to" meanwhile in china? Regards /Martin
