I fill one of my wall bags and some palm bags with mung beans. I was told the beans help promote a healing effect as they get crushed from being hit.
Someone on the Southern Fist forum said this could be tied to the cooling effect of the mung bean but I don't know if I believe this. My thought was that the cooling is was just from using the beans as food.
One of my karate friends told me I should use soybeans instead because we grow a lot of soybeans here and they are easy to get.
I still use mung beans though. They are what my teacher used and I like the feel and the size.
Thanks.

Durian's smell for some people is so horrible, but the others love it very much. I doubt if you can get it fresh, but to get the frozen one is easy. Mainly imported from Thailand or Vietnam. Happy tasting the" King of Tropical Fruits." Cheers.

I doubt if you can absorb it from the punch. Cheers.

Eric ni hao Come on, my suggestion is based on practicality for Hungfist. It's difficult to get fresh durian in some countries. Of course the fresh one is always the best one. From where? I can't answer. Because I don't practise "FROG IN THE WELL STYLE" a.k.a THE BEST KUNGFU STYLE ;D Cheers. PS: the Sumatran will insist that the best durian is from Deli (area Medan), but Pontianak residents will call their durian is the best. And now you mention that Serawak's is the best. Pusssinng lah to decide which is the best ;D
