So I see, this thief is up to his usual Sh*t here. Yo, Mr. Administrator, kick his sorry a#* out. Won't be the first - he is bad news in many forums. The King Hi GojuKing, As a convention, I always ask for background info from all my guests. Being the host I like to know who I am serving. So, if you don’t mind………<br> I don’t kick people out or delete messages in this forum. Anyone can say or do anything they want – I cannot stop them. Remember this is a public forum, visited freely by all. Your words and actions will be used to evaluate you. So if you must post Sir, let me know who you are.

[let's try to move this on-topic . . . ] All right, for those here who practice Okinawa's weapons system(s), why don't you let us know, tell which style or lineage your with, your experiences therein, et al. Speak and we will listen!

I apologize for not responding to the threads. I know there are only a few of us Okinawan Martial Arts practitioners on this great forum. Sometimes I just have time to read or glance. Today, being the day after a holiday here in the USA, I have some time.
The weapons that I practice come from Masami Chinen of Yamane Ryu and Motokatsu Inoue of Ninten Ryu / Ryukyu Kobudo.
I practice the rokushaku bo, sai, nunchaku, tonfa, kama, eku, and tekko.
Regards, Larry

So true!
We are a group of like-minded people no matter what Martial Art we practice. The great common bond. ;D

Hello olddragon,we have not met but Shapland sensei speaks well of you from time to time.I beleive some of my friends may have met you a couple of years ago when they met you to borrow some bos at your work place,we were having our spring training camp at that time.I have met some of the other local kobudo instructors in your area(Mr. Nicholson, Mr. Clayton and Mr. Losier among others)and I would enjoy the opportunity to practice bo kihon with you some day.I think Shapland sensei is planning on having his spring camp at Whistler mnt. this year.I hope to see you there. I beleive that was Sue that borrowed the bo's unless there was another time. I originally began training in Isshin ryu With Shapland Sensei in 1981. It was through him that I originally met Pat McCarthy before he moved to Asia.
I am not sure if I will make the spring camp. I have a few things that are happening this spring that may prevent me from attending. Timing will be the deciding factor.
Most of my training in Kobudo has been with Tamayose, Mr. Clayton and AJ. Advincula. I missed Tamayose Sensei last visit he made.
