Greetings All, Hope you don't mind a little levity in this introduction as i am a sort of shy bird called a moonbird that live high in the sky, not to be confused with a moonie or a mooniebird, just like the moon cause it is beautiful light in the darkness and don't worry i will not be hanging any moons. www.rathergood.com/moon_song/Actually i am living 100% in my head and most cats and birds call me Jack. On a more serious note have been around the World Wide Web since around 1993 via the old Windows 3.1 connection and have watched the development of many Web based Martial Art forums since that time, this forum is like a shift in consciousness comparred to anything i have seen. Well done! Please continue with all success in this form of communication trend. My Martial Art background is a mixture of many styles and teachers although there are only a couple of teachers who have really enabled me to sprout healthy Gung Fu wings. Their guidence has lead me to discover many realms of knowledge and the interconectivity if you will between the expression of concepts and application in body and mind. I am interested in the origins and evolution of Southern and Northern Gung Fu that are being addressed in this forum and in a wider scope my curiosities are expanding into how the East and West are developing through this World Wide Internet that we are building. This raises the question: What exactly is this thing we are building? Does anyone know? Anyway, congrats to those who have created this network of bright minds. Not sure what I can contribute other then perhaps alot of questions, maybe some interesting linkes and a photo here and there. fusionanomaly.net/kungfu.htmlNamaste, Jack "By means of electricity, the world of matter has become a great nerve, vibrating thousands of miles in a breathless point of time ... Since you spout wings, I like to welcome you as my distant wing chun offshoot, moonbird! Just don't fly too high and too near to the moon, cousin. You have heard of our famous deadly Biu Gee (finger point to the moon),of course? =D

Thunderbolt Dude,
Mind your KF manner first, then we can talk about real KF. This is just a introduction section by George! Suhana was very polite to guest as he should be. =)

You have heard of our famous deadly Biu Gee (finger point to the moon),of course? =D Thank you cousin Paul. Yes of course Biu Gee wings shooting toward the moon is familiar and maybe one reason i went flying to the moon in the first place. Siu Lim Tao wings help to get back to earth and Chum Kiuwings, well we’ll cross those bridges when we find them. The moon is sacred ground so I’ll not get too near or too high in here, plus i understand its closed due to construction and the moonbird union workers are on strike cause the cows won’t give milk, they keep jumping over them. Thanks again this place remind me of home. Jack

Jack ni hao Nice to know you and warm welcome to the forum. As the member myself, it's always nice to be able to connect with friends with similar interest. Cheers. Suhana, Thank you for the warm friendly welcome, I am happy to be here. Its very exciting to see in here an open minded and light hearted approach to such massive diversity as is in the martial arts. This forum is proving that it can be done and we can be friendly even in times when there are dissimilarities or differences, I mean the ideas of opposites attracting or complimenting one another is built into all the arts, isn’t it? Its challenging I suppose because most discussions are somehow revolving around the reality of conflict/attacks and resolution. To this I would like to offer the Sil Lum Tao of conflict resolution… Attack the IDEA and NOT the person. LOL. Oops I feel my adrenaline rising. Ok, my friend this is just an intro so I’ll get back to that one sometime. Thank you. Cheers, Jack

According to logic, when any person knows something ( a proposition), at least two conditions must present: (1) The person must believe the proposition in question. (2) The believed propostion must be true. A bad forum consists of people with limited information on condition (2) yet keep negating or proposing condition (1). I am glad to be here because I can just shut up and learn when I don't know about the presented subject. In addition, the tea is always served warm here . Welcome.
