hahaha Russ my hard-soft friend,
Shake the tree hard enough and the good stuff start appearing.....
I think sharing pics are okay - sort of like paying homage to them, yes ?
Anyway, thanks......
I will post more from my collection.

Another pic of Bruce Liang. For those not familiar with him; a Goju / CKF movie star in Hong Kong. Did a few movies and some TV series but not as big as names like Jacky Chan, Jet Lee and Chow Yuen Fat etc.............

Hi Rob, Here's one for you. Singapore Shi-To Ryu Karate Association training pictures. I think these were taken in the late 80s and yup, they trained outdoors and without a roof over. I think at that time the instructor was Ishikawa-Sensei... (bottom pic next to the kid).

Isshin Ryu is One Heart Method but the Kanji is really different and these guys do not look anything like Isshin Ryu to me. They may be a line off from Kyokushin Kai. The Kyokushin kanji I have seen is calligraphy and really hard for me to make out. They generally interpret Shin as Truth instead of Heart. Kyokushin is something like Ultimate Truth. But I don't know, but it looks like Japanese stuff to me. Kyokushin guys like to kick to the head.

I believe the kanji reads Go Shin Ryu . Go is taken from the second kanji of the word rengo meaning united , shin meaning heart , & of course ryu which is often translated , as style .
