Inch Jin in Nei Jia or Tai Ji is still generated by the whole body movement. This is another big topic.

Nice interaction Wanderer, thank you very much.
Tsun Kiu is a very special skill in TSK. The quality is like a vulcano that explodes. If we are talking about the bow Jeung & Chi. My excuse for not knowing the mandarin pinyin pronounciation. But Chi is relaxing the bow, this is Tsun Kiu. To reveal an advanced principle, Tsun Kiu walks with an inhaling sound. Normally there is tension again at the end, but in Tsun Kiu there is full penetration while the fingers stay soft .
I realized that this is different in Tai Ji, but thought you might find this interesting? A very significant aspect in Iron Wire Boxing I must say. Very soft outside, very hard inside.
Of course there is much more to say about Tsun Kiu, but an impression is more then enough.
Warm regards,
Evert.

Something that's been alluded to, but not stated in so many words..
A main point in distinguishing external vs internal jins is where the force is generated.
Qi is channeled through the sinews, whereas Li is born in the muscles and skin. This may help to explain why there is much emphasis on stance training in the internal, but no emphasis on skin conditioning. This is also why there is no blocking, in the sense of "force against force."
Bioelectrically, muscles and skin are poor conductors of electricity while the sinews are better conductors. And while Qi isn't exactly "electricity," I believe the imagery is helpful in the discussion.
A little simplistic perhaps, but important concepts none the less.
Any comments are more than welcome.

Ok everything is great here.
The problem is no one touch about how to Fa Jin.
What is the different between the TaiJi Reel silk jin, the Yee Chuan shock Jin, The White Crane Yong Chun Tau Chong Jin, The Wing Chun inch Jing?
Those are 4 beauties of the Chinese martial art world.
And none of these Jing is magical at all.
