Da jia ni men hao I heard that Chee's lineage also printed their own NCK book. Anyone know if it's on the market ? Cheers It was written by Sifu Han in the UK. Unfortunately it is not for general sale and is only really available for his instructors and students.

Fatman ni hao So basically it's a guidance manual for the sifu. Definetly no for the public consumption? Cheers.

Fatman ni hao Good manual and can be handy for all teachers. Are the contents strictly for own circle? Cheers. Even I cannot get a copy of it . It was written almost solely for Sifu Han's instructors and students and it is very hard to get a copy of it as he controls its distribution very carefully. I have seen a copy, but cannot get one for myself. It is a very well written book.

Fatman ni hao Must be very secret and important manual Cheers. Not if I have seen it . Seriously though, it is fairly detailed and is intended for Sifu Han's instructors. I am not sure that I agree with how tightly it is being controlled, but then it is his work and he has a right to do that if he wishes. I have a great deal of respect for Sifu Han as he is a great teacher and martial artist.

i think 'secret books' and texts are common through out. Master Lokinghui left lots of notes when he was still around. even my mentor kept notes for me to use else hes not here anymore, which was very sweet and thoughtful for him to do,sadly i dont know where he left it...been looking in the file cabinets and nothing...

Da jia ni men hao From your perspective, is it a good thing for a teacher to put all his knowldege and experiences into something written? Or it's better to pass them via oral ? Cheers.

Neither writting all knowledge and experiences into the book nor pass them via oral will make a stupid understand. Practice is the only way to improve.

Hi Gregory, Ditto. So what is your position on those who teach themselves using videos and books. Then they tell the world they have "experience" in those styles from the videos and books? Errh, we still don't know anything about you.
