Konghan ni hao I believe the picture is the siccors kicking? Cheers. The one on the picture is a round house type of scissor strike. Another type is the clockwise strike & another is the reverse. All these techniques can either be executed flying hi going for the neck or low attack for waist & knees. The round house scissor strike is very powerful becuase its either your shin, knee or foot that will hit your opponent & your other leg serves as a lock. The shin & knee is the most dangerouse one.

it could lead to dislocation :-) If don inproperly, yes it will lead to dislocation, thats why lots of training is put into it. In fact I feel soo good when ever I do the hi flying scissor strike. ;D We had a personal competition before as to who can execute the highest scissor strike ;D

its not to impress anyone...the person who did the lowest or gave up 1st is given a monicker that would run for a week. calling silly names like 'lan chao bin' or 'chi bai'...until the next time when hopefully some other unfortunate soul would be 'lan chao bin' for week...this is a silly but effective tradition set by some students before lol...and is actually meant for imrpiving one's skill

You might frighten away the ladies who are thinking about joining us. Thank you. I second that, in fact we can't use those kind of words on our strudents anymore it is now consider degrading & verbal abuse that can get us into trouble with civil law suite. I never use those degrading phrases not before, not now & not in the future.
