Okay folks, Pix from 3 RCF. Undoubtedly Northern, with wide stances and big movements, but you also see many "animals" techniques. If I am not wrong, I observed some:- Dragon Tiger Snake Panther and even Praying Mantis in their forms. Nice.

Hi Wanderer,
You look like you're well-versed in Northern Kung Fu.
So tell me, is my perception right ?
3 RCF seems to include many "animals" techniques. The overall feel is still very "Northern" but I see dragon/tiger claws and even snake fingers.
Certain part of the form looks Tang Lang.
Comments?
Thank you.

1) There are some hook hands to Diao. It works a little bit differently from Tang Lang. There are more variations in the forearm moves in Tang Lang. 2) Yes, there are prominent Tiger Claws to catch (Zua or Zuo). Some stances to "Tame" the tiger or to sit on tiger. Fu Hu Shi. 3) Yes, there are big moves and with arms almost fully extended. The moves are sort of classical in "long" boxing, Chan Quan. The theories are rich in Qi and Taiji or Tai Xu. The moves may be practiced for health. They are balanced and good for Qi Gong, too.
